Dr Elaine Xu led and managed the project. She took the lead role in scoping the project and engaging with internal and external stakeholders. She was also involved in developing the project, designing and implementing the digital campaign, and undertook analysis and reporting for the project.
At the University of Newcastle, Elaine is the Program Convenor of the Bachelor of Media and Communication and primarily teaches into the Public Relations major. She has worked and lived in the Asia Pacific and has more than 10 years’ experience in the media and communication industries. Her research interests revolve around charitable fundraising, the framing of social and development issues, and environmental communication and behaviours.
